AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN EXTENSION
OF THE ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE - BETWEEN THE CORPUS CHRISTI
BANK & TRUST COMPANY, TRUSTEE, AND JAMES D. SPARKS AND
CARRIE SPARKS, COVERING THE AIRLINE CATERING KITCHEN
FACILITIES AT CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, A
COPY OF SAID EXTENSION AGREEMENT BEING ATTACHED HERETO
AND MADE A PART HEREOF.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 5790, passed and approved on the 15th day
of June, 1960, authorized the acceptance and approval of an Assignment of
lease between the Corpus Christi Bank & Trust Company, Trustee, and James
D. Sparks and Carrie Sparks, covering the airline catering kitchen facilities
at Corpus Christi International Airport, which lease was for a period of
fifteen (15) years, beginning on the 1st day of August, 1960, and terminating
fifteen years from that date:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OCUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manger be and he is hereby authorized
to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Corpus Christi, an Extension
of Term of the Assignment of Lease between the Corpus Christi Bank & Trust
Company, Trustee, and James D. Sparks and Carrie Sparks, covering the air-
line catering kitchen facilities at Corpus Christi International Airport,
all as is more fully set forth in said Agreement, a copy of which is attached
hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and made a part hereof for all pertinent purposes.'

EXTENSION OF TERM
ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE

The parties to this contract are Corpus Christi Bank & Trust
Company, Trustee, hereinafter referred to as Assignor, and James D. Sparks
and Carrie Sparks, hereinafter referred to as Assignee.
The parties hereby mutually covenant and agree to extend for a
period of five (5) years, from the 1st day of August, 1975 and ending on
the 31st day of July, 1980, an assignment of lease between the parties hereto
executed on the 14th day of July, 1960, which Assignment the City Manager of
the City of Corpus Christi was authorized to accept and approve by Ordinance
No. 5790, all the terms, conditions, covenants and agreements of said Assign-
ment of Lease to continue to inure to and to bind the respective parties
hereto for such extended term in all respects.
Executed in triplicate on this day of 1975.
