AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET; APPROPRIATING $12,038.71
OUT OF THE NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND FOR THE PURCHASE
OF 24" V.C. SANITARY SEWER PIPE AND FITTINGS IN
CONNECTION WTIH THE HORNE ROAD UNIT II STREET IMPROVE-
MENTS, PROJECT NO. 220 -70 -111; AUTHORIZING REIMBURSE-
MENT TO THE NO. 109 WASTEWATER SERVICES FUND, ACTIVITY
5371, CODE 603, FOR SAID PIPE AND FITTINGS PURCHASE;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $12,038.71
out of the No. 220 Street Band Fund for the purchase of 24" V.C. sanitary
sewer pipe and fittings in connection with the Horne Road Unit II Street
Improvements, Project No. 220 -70 -111.
SECTION 2. That reimbursement of the No. 109 Sewer Fund out
of Activity 5371, Code 603, in the amount of $12,038.71, for the aforesaid
pipe and fittings purchase, be and the same is hereby authorized.
SECTION 3. Amendment of the City Budget to accomplish the
purposes of this ordinance is necessitated for emergency expenditure in
grave public necessity to meet unusual and unforeseen conditions, which
could not, by reasonable diligent thought and attention of the Government
of the City of Corpus Christi, have been included in the current, original
Budget of the City.
SECTION 4. The necessity to reimburse the No. 109 Sewer Fund
in the amount hereinabove set forth creates a public emergency and an
imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule
that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its
introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three
several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor, having declared such
emergency and necessity to exist, having requested the suspension of the
Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED this the
day of July, 1975.

NANCE FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, OR AT THE PRESENT MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL.
