AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND
FUND $1,897.64 TO SUPPLEMENT PREVIOUS APPROPRIATIONS
FOR THE CONTRACT WITH MERCER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR
THE LAGUNA SHORES LIFT STATION AND FORCE MAIN IMPROVE -
MENTS, APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 250 -72 -4; AND DECLAR-
ING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of the No. 250
Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund $1,897.64 to supplement previous appropriations
for the contract with Mercer Construction Company for the Laguna Shores
Lift Station and Force Main Improvements, which is applicable to Project
No. 250 -72 -4.
SECTION 2. The necessity to supplement previous appropriations
for the contract with Mercer Construction Company so that construction may
proceed in an orderly manner creates a public emergency and an imperative
public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance
or resolution shell be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that
such ordinance or resolution shell be read at three several meetings of the
City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to
exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this
ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect
and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY
SO ORDAINED, this the da of October, 1975.

NANCE FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, OR AT THE PRESENT MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL.
