HomeMy WebLinkAbout12851 ORD - 10/15/1975• JKH:hb:9 /30/75:1st • AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21 -131 OF THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE, ENTITLED "PARKING METER ZONES ESTABLISHED", AS AMENDED, AND PARTICULARLY AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 12103, PASSED AND APPROVED ON JUNE 5, 1974, BY AMENDING SUBSECTION (e) OF SAID SECTION 21 -131 TO HEREAFTER PROVIDE FOR PARKING LIMITED TO THIRTY MINUTES UPON THE DEPOSIT OF A FIVE -CENT COIN, AND ONE HOUR UPON THE DEPOSIT OF TWO FIVE -CENT COINS OR ONE DIME; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Section 21- 131(e) of the Corpus Christi City Code, as amended, and particularly as amended by Ordinance No. 12103, passed and approved on June 5, 1974, be and the same is hereby amended by deleting the wording from said (e) which reads as follows: "is established in which parking shall be limited to fifteen minutes upon the deposit of a five -cent coin, and thirty minutes upon the deposit of two five -cent coins or one dime", and in lieu thereof adding the following words: "is established in which parking shall be limited to thirty minutes upon the deposit of a five -cent coin, and one hour upon the deposit of two five - cent coints or one dime ", said introductory paragraph to hereafter read as follows: "(e) Meter Zone No: 5 is established in which parking shall be limited to thirty minutes upon the deposit of a five -cent coin, and one hour upon the deposit of two five -cent coins or one dime coin between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. on any day, except Sundays and holidays officially set by the City Council, and except Saturday afternoon, upon the following streets: ". SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are repealed to the extent of conflict herewith. SECTION 3.
