HomeMy WebLinkAbout12877 ORD - 10/29/1975• JKH:vmr:10- 28- 75;lst AN ORDINANCE r APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE NO. 291 PARK BOND FOND $850 FOR APPRAISAL SERVICES BY HAROLD CARR IN CONNECTION WITH THE ACQUISITION OF PARCELS 103, 104 AND 304, CORPUS CHRISTI BEACH PARR SITES, PROJECT NO. 291- 72 -12; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. • BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of the No. 291 Park Bond Fund the sum of $850 for appraisal services by Harold Carr in connection with the acquisition of Parcels 103, 104 and 304, Corpus _Christi Beach Park Sites, Project No. 291- 72 -12. SECTION 2. The necessity to appropriate the sums hereinabove set forth in order that negotiations for acquisitions, of parcels for the Corpus Christi Beach Park Sites may be commenced at the earliest practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Nayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the .2f day of October, 1975.
