HomeMy WebLinkAbout12904 ORD - 11/12/1975• JKH:hb:11/12/75:lst • AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CORRECTING ORDINANCE NO. 12781, PASSED AND APPROVED SEPTEMBER 3, 1975, WHICH AUTHORIZED THE EXECUTION OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 TO THE CONTRACT WITH LAMBERT 8 FONDREN, INC., FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE CORPUS CHRISTI HEALTH CENTER, SAID CHANGE ORDER PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL SITE WORK TO COORDINATE BOTH VEHICULAR AND PEDESTRIAN ACCESS TO THE HEALTH FACILITY, SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER, AND GREENWOOD LIBRARY; CORRECTING THE AMOUNTS OF APPROPRIATION CANCELLED BY SAID ORDINANCE NO. 12781 IN THE NOS. 121, 122, 124 AND 125 GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS TO BE $25,665.49, ACCORDING TO THE SCHEDULE ATTACHED HERETO, MARKED EXHIBIT "A ", AND MADE A PART HEREOF; CORRECTING THE AMOUNT AUTHORIZED FOR TRANSFER TO THE NO. 268 HEALTH FACILITIES BOND FUND FROM $25,660.50 TO $25,665.49; KEEPING IN FORCE AND EFFECT ALL OTHER PORTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 12781; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 12781, passed and approved by the City Council on September 3, 1975, which authorized the execution of Change Order No. 2 to the contract with Lambert S Fondren, Inc., for construction of the Corpus Christi Health Center, said Change Order providing for additional site work to coordinate both vehicular and pedestrian access to the Health Facility, Senior Citizen's Center, and Greenwood Library, be and the same is hereby amended as hereinafter set forth. SECTION 2. That the total amount of appropriation cancelled by said Ordinance No. 12781, in the Nos. 121, 1220 124, and 125 General Revenue Sharing Funds be corrected to read $25,665.49, as more fully set forth in the schedule attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and made a part hereof. SECTION 3. That the amount authorized for transfer to the No. 268 Health Facilities Bond Fund be corrected to read $25,665.49 instead of $25,660.50. SECTION 4. Except as hereinabove provided and amended, Ordinance No. 12781 shall be and remain in full force and effect. SECTION 5.
