AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF UTILITY EASEMENTS FROM
LAZARO CRUZ AND SARA JEAN ORRICK, IN CONNECTION
WITH THE WALDRON SUBDIVISION LATERALS, STAGE 1,
PROJECT NUMBER 250- 72 -16; APPROPRIATING $200 OUT OF
THE NUMBER 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND, OF WHICH $150
IS FOR ACQUISITION OF EASEMENT FROM LAZARO CRUZ AND
$50 IS FOR ACQUISITION OF EASEMENT FROM SARA JEAN
ORRICK; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That authorization is hereby given for acquisition
of utility easements in connection with the Waldron Subdivision Laterals, Stage 1,
Project No. 250- 72 -16, said easements being more particularly described as follows:
Being a 10.0 foot strip of land through Lots 3, 4, Block 1, WALDRON SUB -
DIV'13I019 as shown by map of record in Volume 13, Page 40, Map Records,
Nueces County, Texas, and more particularly described by metes and bounds
as follows:
Beginning on the Northwesterly right -of -way line of Greer Drive at the
common corner of Lots 4, 5, Block 1, said Waldron Subdivision for the
most Southerly and beginning corner of the tract of land herein described;
Thence N. 610 00' W., along the most Southerly boundary line of said Lot
4, passing the common corner of Lot 4 and Lot 3 at 57.50 feet, in all a'
distance of ]15.0 feet to a point, said point being the common corner of
Lots 2, 3, 5, 6, Block 1, said Waldron Subdivision;
Thence N. 290 00' E., along the Northwesterly boundary line of said Lot 3,
a distance of 10.0 feet to a point,
Thence S. 610 00' E., along a line that is 10.0 feet North of and parallel
to the Southerly boundary line of Lot 3 and Lot 4, passing the North-
easterly boundary )Jme of said Lot 3 at 57.50 feet, in all a distance of
3_1,5.0 feet to a point on the Northwesterly right -of way line of Greer Drive;
Thence S. 290 00' W., along the Northwesterly right-of-way line of Greer
Drive, a distance of 10.0 feet to the place of beginning and containing
1,150.00 square feet more or less.
Together with a 15 foot wide temporary construction easement adjacent to
and parallel to the Northeast side of abovementioned 10 foot wide per-
manent easement.. Said temporary construction easement to expire within
six (6) months after completion of the sanitary sewer project for which
this easement was granted.

Being a rectangular shaped tract of land out of Lot 2, Block 1, WALDRON
SUBDIVISION, as shown by map of record in Volume 13, Page 40, Map Records,
Nueces County, Te ras, and more particularly described by metes and bounds
as follows:
Beginning at the common corner of Lots 2, 3, 5, 6, Block 1, said Waldron
Subdivision for the most Southerly and beginning corner of the tract of
land herein described;

Thence N. 610 O0* T11,, along the Southwesterly boundary line of said Lot
2, a distance of 20.0 feet to a point;
Thence N. 290 00* E., a distance of 10.0 feet to a point;
Thence S. 610 00' E., along a line that is 10.0 feet Northeasterly of
and parallel to the Southwesterly boundary line of said Lot 2, a distance
of 20.0 feet to a point on the most Easterly boundary line of Lot 2;
Thence S. 290 00, W., along the most Easterly boundary line of said Lot 2,
a distance of 10.0 feet to the place of beginning and containing 200.0
square feet, more or less.
to be acquired from Sara Jean Orrick.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated out of the
No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund the sum of $200, of which $150 is for
acquisition of easement from Lazaro Cruz and $50 is for acquisition ease-
meat from Sara Jean Orrick.
SECTION 3. The necessity to acquire the aforesaid easements
and to appropriate the sums necessary therefore creates a public emergency
and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter
rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of
its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three
several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such
emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the
Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the day
of December, 1975.

BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE IT 13 INTRODUCED, AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR
RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL; I, THEREFORE,
REQUEST THAT YOU SUSPEND SAID CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT AND PASS THIS ORDI-
NANCE FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, OR AT THE PRESENT MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL.
