TEXAS:
AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE AIRPORT LIMOUSINE CONCESSION CONTRACT
GRANTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 10162, PASSED AND APPROVED
ON MARCH 17, 1971, AS AMENDED, AND PARTICULARLY AS
AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 10883, PASSED AND APPROVED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON MAY 31, 1972, AND BY ORDINANCE
NO. 11820, PASSED AND APPROVED ON DECEMBER 12, 1973,
BY AMENDING THE FARES IN ZONES 1 THROUGH 5, AS MORE
-FULLY SET FORTH HEREINAFTER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the Airport Limousine Concession Contract
granted by Ordinance No. 10162, passed and approved on March 17, 1971,
as amended, and particularly as amended by Ordinance No. 10883, passed and
approved by the City Council on May 31, 1972, and by Ordinance No. 11820,
passed and approved by the City Council on December 12, 1973, be and
the same is hereby amended as follows:
Paragraph II, Zone 1, is changed from $2.50 to $3.00;
Paragraph II, Zone 2 East, is changed from $2.75 to $3.50;
Paragraph II, Zone 2 West, is changed from $2.75 to $3.50;
Paragraph II, Zone 3 East, is changed from $4.00 to $4.50;
Paragraph II, Zone 3 West, is changed from $4.00 to $4.50;
Paragraph II, Zone 4, is changed from $4.50 to $6.00;
Paragraph II, Zone 5, is changed from $6.00 to $7.50, with
a maximum of $18.75 per trip to or from the Naval Air Station.
SECTION 2. If for any reason any section, paragraph, sub-
division, clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be
held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent
jurisdiction it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite
intent of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision hereof be given full force and effect
for its purpose.
SECTION 3. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of
this ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
