AMENDING THE CITY CODE, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING
SECTION 21 -153, SCHEDULE I, ONE -WAY STREETS AND
ALLEYS, BY ADDING AN ITEM THERETO SO AS TO MAKE
HUDSON STREET, FROM SHAW STREET TO STAFFORD STREET,
ONE WAY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 A.M. AND 9:30 A.M.,
AND 3:00 P.M. AND 4:30 P.M. DURING SCHOOL DAYS ONLY;
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the Corpus Christi City Code, as emended, be and
the same is hereby amended by amending Section 21 -153, Schedule I, "ONE -
WAY STREETS AND ALLEYS ", by adding an item thereto so as to make Hudson
Street, between Shaw and Stafford Streets, one way as follows:
NAME OF STREET EFFECTIVE TIMES DIRECTION OF MOVEMENT
Hudson Street, from Shaw 8:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M.
Street to Stafford Street and 3:00 P.M. and 4:30
P.M., during school days
only Southeast
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid
or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction
it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase,
word, or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this
City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase,
word, or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
SECTION 4. Publication shall be made in the official publication
of the City of Corpus Christi one time, which publication shell contain
the caption stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
