HomeMy WebLinkAbout13042 ORD - 02/18/1976• JRH:hb:2 /18/76:lst AN ORDINANCE REAPPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 102 GENERAL AND RESERVE APPROPRIATION THE SUM OF $25,722.48 FOR TRANSFER TO THE GENERAL FUND ACTIVITY #3113 "INTEREST ON INTER - FUND LOANS" FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING ACCRUED INTEREST TO 115 UTILITIES METER DEPOSIT FUND OF $17,647.94 AND PAYING TO 145 CROKE CANYON RESERVOIR FUND ACCRUED INTEREST OF $8,074.54; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. I BE,IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:! SECTION 1. That there is hereby reappropriated out of the No. 102 General Fund Reserve Appropriation the sum of $25,722.48 for transfer to the General Fund Activity No. 31139 "Interest of Inter -Fund Loans ", for the purpose of paying accrued interest to No. M Utilities Meter Deposit Fund of $17,647.94 and paying to No. 145 Choke Canyon Reservoir Fund accrued interest of $8,074.54, said accrued interest incurred on temporary loans made by the respective funds. SECTION 2. The necessity to reappropriate the sums here- inabove set forth for the purposes set forth herein creates a public • emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect f ;om and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the /O day of __. 1976.
