HomeMy WebLinkAbout13115 ORD - 03/31/1976• EE:hb:3 /31/76:1at AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AND REAPPROPRIATING $57,780 OUT OF THE FIFTH ENTITLEMENT PERIOD,.GENERAL REVENUE SHARING RESERVE, ACTIVITY 6705, WHICH AMOUNT IS TO BE TRANSFERRED TO NO. 291 PARK BOND FUND, PRO- JECT 291- 72 -12, FOR THE AWARD OF SPECIAL COMMISSIONERS, COMMISSIONERS' FEES, COURT COSTS AND APPRAISER'S COSTS, ALL IN CONNECTION 141TH THE ACQUISITION OF PARCEL NO. 103, CORPUS CHRISTI BEACH PARK SITES, IN CONDEMNATION, STYLED CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI VS. GREAT GULF CORPORATION, ET AL; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: • SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated and reappropriated $57,780 out of the Fifth Entitlement Period, General Revenue Sharing Reserve, Activity No. 6705, which amount is to be transferred to No. 291 Park Bond Fund, Project No. 291- 72 -12, for the Award of Special Commission- ers, fees of Special Commissioners, costs of Court and appraiser's costs, all in connection with the acquisition of Parcel No. 103, Corpus Christi Beach Park sites, in condemnation, Cause No. 745-1 styled City of Corpus Christi v. Great Gulf Corporation, at al. SECTION 2. That the necessity to appropriate and reappropriate the hereinabove funds so that deposit can be made into the registry of the court for the Award of Special Commissioners in this cause, creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspen- sion of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolu- tion shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS S7- s �7� ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED this the .31 day of / /(_/��? �C%� , 1976.
