HomeMy WebLinkAbout13196 ORD - 05/26/1976t ) JKH:vp:5 /24/76:1st TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $15,506.80 OUT OF THE NO. 125 FIFTH ENTITLEMENT PERIOD GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOS ENCINOS PARK, WHICH AMOUNT IS TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE NO. 291 PARK BOND FUND, PROJECT NO. 291 -72 -3; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $15,506.80 out of the No. 125 Fifth Entitlement Period General Revenue Sharing Fund for the development of Los Encinos Park, which amount is to be transferred to the No. 291 Park Bond Fund, Project No. 291 -72 -3. SECTION 2. The necessity to appropriate the sums hereinabove set 0 forth creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requir- ing the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in dill force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the 2(O-71day of May, 1976.
