DOT - FA76SW -1010 WITH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE NO. 12670, TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SITES AT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT UPON WHICH TO CONSTRUCT, OPERATE, AND MAINTAIN A VISUAL APPROACH SLOPE INDICATOR AND TWO RUNWAY END IDENTIFIER LIGHTS ON RUNWAY 17 -35, AS MORE FULLY SET FORTH IN THE SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, IN SUB- STANTIALLY THE FORM ATTACHED HERETO, MARKED EXHIBIT "A ", AND MADE A PART HEREOF; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Supplemental Agreement No.'l to License No. DOT- FA76SW -1010 with the United States of America, authorized by Ordinance No. 12670, to'provide additional sites at International Airport upon which to construct, operate, and maintain a visual approach slope indicator and two runway end identifier lights on Runway 17 -35, as more fully set forth in the Supplemental Agreement, in substantially the form attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and made a part hereof. SECTION 2. The necessity to authorize execution of the aforesaid Supplemental Agreement at the earliest practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the o S day of July, 1976. SAMPLE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION SOUTHWEST REGION POST OFFICE BOX 1689 FORT WORTH, TEXAS 76101 License No. DOT- FA76SW -1010 ALS, LOG, GS, MM, RT, VASI and REIL (2) RW -17 -35 International Airport Corpus Christi, Texas SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of , 1976, by and between the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, hereinafter called the Government, and the CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, hereinafter called the Licensor, whose address is International Airport, Route 2, Box 902, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78408, WITNESSETH, That: WHEREAS, on the 1st day of July, 1975, the parties hereunto entered into License No. DOT- FA76SW -1010, for the consideration and purposes more particu- larly stated in said license; and WHEREAS, the Government has a need to acquire additional sites upon which to construct, operate, and maintain a Visual Approach Slope Indicator (VASI) and two (2) Runway End Identifier Lights (REIL) on Runway 17 -35 of Corpus Christi International Airport as shown on Drawing SW -D- 8785 -1, attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the Licensor, in consideration of the benefits derived from the services provided by the aforesaid VASI and REILs, does hereby grant to the Government the right to construct, operate, and maintain said VASI and REILs as shown on Drawing SW -D- 8785 -1; and WHEREAS, the parties hereunto find it is to their mutual benefit and advantage to amend said license. NOW, THEREFORE, effective May 3, 1976, the parties hereto agree to amend the basic license in the following particulars only, viz.: To: Grant the Government the right to construct, operate, and maintain a Visual Approach Slope Indicator (VASI) and two (2) Runway End Identifier Lights (REILs) on Runway 17 -35, including the right to install, maintain, and operate power and control cables, as shown on Drawing SW -D- 8785 -1, attached hereto and made a part hereof. Supplemental kgreement No. 1 to , License No. DOT- FA76SW -1010 ALS, LOC, GS, MM, RT, VASI and REIL (2), RW 17 -35 International Airport Corpus Christi, Texas ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS of the basic license are hereby ratified and except as amended herein shall be and remain the same.
