HomeMy WebLinkAbout13356 ORD - 08/25/1976JKH:hb:8 /23/7 :1st, AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AND REAPPROPRIATING $945 OUT OF THE SIXTH ENTITLEMENT PERIOD, GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND, ACTIVITY NO. 6706, CODE 490, WHICH AMOUNT IS TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE NO. 291 PARK BOND FUND FOR PROJECT NO. 291- 72 -12, FOR APPRAISAL SERVICES BY THOMAS F. DORSEY AND HAROLD CARR IN CONNECTION WITH THE ACQUISITION OF PARCELS 103 AND 304, CORPUS CHRISTI BEACH PARK SITES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 'CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated and reappropriated the sum of $945 out of the Sixth Entitlement period, General Revenue Sharing Fund, Activity No. 6706, Code -490; which amount is to be transferred to the No. 291 Park Bond Fund for Project No. 291- 72 -12, for appraisal services by Thomas F. Dorsey and Harold Carr in connection with the acqui- sition of Parcels 103 and 304, Corpus Christi Beach Park Sites. SECTION 2. The necessity to provide the necessary sums for appraisal services in connection with acquisitions of parcels for the Corpus Christi Beach Park Sites project creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolu- tion shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor, having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its pass , IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the day of 1976.
