HomeMy WebLinkAbout13401 ORD - 09/15/1976-H:vmr:9 -15 -76 -1st AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER AND APPROPRIATION OF GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,665.49 FROM THE NO. 126 FUND, TO THE NO. 102 GENERAL FUND REVENUE ACCOUNT NO. 2497, FOR SUPPORT OF HEALTH PROGRAMS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That authorization is hereby given for transfer and appropriation of General Revenue Sharing Funds in the amount of $25,665.49 from the No. 126 Fund to the No. 102 General Fund, Revenue Account No. 2497, for financial support of Health Programs. SECTION 2. The necessity to appropriate the above described funds and to make available the sums in the General Fund at the earliest practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such emergency and necessity exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and a er its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the day of _ , 197 .
