HomeMy WebLinkAbout13402 ORD - 09/15/1976-T:vmri9- 15- 76;lst AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 12781, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON SEPTEMBER 3, 1975, AND ORDINANCE NO. 12904, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON NOVEMBER 12, 1975, AS PERTAINS TO APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS, BY CANCELLING THE APPROPRIATION OF $25,665.49 PROVIDED BY THE SAID ORDINANCES FROM REVENUE SHARING FUND AND APPROPRIATING $25,665.49 FROM NO. 102 GENERAL FUND RESERVE, ACTIVITY NO. 4299, TO BE TRANS- FERRED TO PROJECT NO. 268 -72 -1; KEEPING IN FORCE AND EFFECT ALL OTHER PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 12904 AND ORDINANCE NO. 12781; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 12781, passed and approved by the City Council on September 3, 1975, and Ordinance No. 12904, passed on November 12, 1975, as pertains to appropriation of funds, be and the same are hereby amended by cancelling the appropriation of $25,665.49 provided by the aforesaid ordinances from the Revenue Sharing Fund; there is hereby appropriated $25,665.49 from the `No. 102 General Fund Reserve, Activity-No. 4299, to be transferred to Project No. 268 -72 -1, Corpus Christi Health Center. SECTION 2. That except as hereby amended, Ordinance Nos. 12904 and 3.2781 shall be and remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 4. The necessity to make the hereinabove described amendment to the said ordinances providing funds for the Corpus Christi Health Center creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such emergency and necessity exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its intro- duction and take effect and be in full forcq and effect rom and after its, _p IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the day of , 1976.
