BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of the No. 162 Federal /State Grant Funds the sum of $1,775.05 for Corpus Christi Beach Drainage Project, Activity 4734, Code 502 Second Year Community Development Fund, of which amount $88.55 is for legal advertising and $1,686.50 is for soil investigation, in connection with the aforesaid project. SECTION 2. The necessity to provide the sums hereinabove set forth in order that the Corpus Christi Beach Drainage Project may continue without delay creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolu- tion shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the day of g J1 11JA , 1976.
