HomeMy WebLinkAbout13458 ORD - 10/27/1976.-I , 11, AN ORDINANCE TEXAS: AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 11404, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON MARCH 20, 1973, BY AMENDING SECTION 1 SO AS TO CHANGE THE NUMBER OF SATELLITE HEALTH CLINICS TO BE DESIGNED UNDER PROJECT NO. 207- 72 -3.2 FROM THREE TO TWO; AMENDING SECTION 2 OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 11404 BY CANCELLING $11,418.98 FROM SAID APPROPRIATION, APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 207- 72 -3.2, AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF AN APPROPRIATION OF $11,418.98 FROM THE NO. 126 GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND TO THE SAID PROJECT TO COVER ARCHITECTURAL FEES RELATED TOITHE FLOUR BLUFF PORTION OF THE PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 11404, passed and approved by the City Council on March 20, 1973, be and the same is hereby amended by amending Section 1 so as to change the number of satellite health clinics to be designed by Romeo Garcia, A.I.A. Architects, under Project No. 207- 72 -3.2 from three (3) to two (2). SECTION 2. That Section 2 of said Ordinance No. 11404 be amended by cancelling $11,418.98 from said appropriation, out of the No. 207 Public Building Bond Fund, and authorizing the transfer of an appropriation of $11,418.98 from the No. 126 General Revenue Sharing Fund to the said project, to cover architectural fees related to the Flour Bluff portion of the project, SECTION 3. The necessity to amend Ordinance No. 11404 and to provide sufficient funds in order that the construction of the satellite health clinics may be continued without delay creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule - that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of -its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the27�day of October, 1976. i9u1*11F City Secretary APPROVED: • �•�b J.
