HomeMy WebLinkAbout13541 ORD - 12/29/1976jkh:12- 15 -76; 1st AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 13491, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON NOVEMBER 24, 1976, WHICH INCREASED THE TAXICAB RATES, BY AMENDING SECTION 2 OF SAID ORDINANCE, SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR CHARGE OF 20 CENTS PER TWO MINUTES OF WAITING TIME; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 13491, passed and approved by the City Council on the third of three readings on November 24, 1976, be and the same is hereby amended by amending Section 2 of said ordinance, said Section 2 to hereafter read as follows: "SECTION 2. For each two minutes of waiting time the charge shall be twenty cents (20f)." SECTION 2. Publication shall be made one time by publishing in the official newspaper of the City of Corpus Christi the caption of this ordinance stating in substance the purpose of the aforesaid ordinance.
