HomeMy WebLinkAbout13603 ORD - 02/02/19770 JRH:hb:l /J1/77 , AN ORDINANCE T �%._ • AMENDING THE 1976 -77 BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $265,743 FROM THE ANTIRECESSIONARY FISCAL ASSISTANCE FUND TO SUPPORT WATER FUND ACTIVITIES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEAS: SECTION 1. That the 1976 -77 Budget for the City of Corpus Christi be and the same is hereby amended by appropriating $265,743 from the Antirecessionary Fiscal Assistance Fund to support Water Fund activi- ties. SECTION 2. The necessity to amend the City of Corpus Christi Budget, as hereinabove set forth, at the earliest practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED this the �,,ej day of C!�P-I ibtd.G , 1977.
