HomeMy WebLinkAbout13663 ORD - 03/02/1977• JRH:hb:2 /28/77 • AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4,270.61 OUT OF THE NO. 291 PARR BOND FUND APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 291 -72 -9, FLOUR BLUFF PARR & POOL, TO COVER THE PRORATED COST OF THE LOWERING OF A LOW PRESSURE PIPELINE ACROSS THE GRAHAM ROAD FRONTAGE OF THE FLOUR BLUFF PARR, PAYABLE TO EXXON COMPANY; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $4,270.61 out of the No. 291 Park Bond Fund applicable to Project No. 291 -72 -9, Foss Bluff Park & Pool, to cover the prorated coat of the lowering of a low pressure pipeline across the Graham Road frontage of the Flour Bluff Park, payable to Exxon Company. SECTION 2. The necessity to appropriate the sums hereinabove described at the earliest practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having de- clared such emergency and necessity to exist, having requested the suspen- sion of the Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED this the oday of / /� , 1977.
