SARITA STREET, FROM BELTON STREET TO TARLTON STREET; 2. BOLIVAR STREET, FROM CROSSTOWN EXPRESSWAY TO SARITA STREET; 3. NIAGARA STREET, FROM BOLIVAR STREET TO GUADALUPE STREET; 4. PRESA STREET, FROM CROSSTOWN EXPRESSWAY TO SARITA STREET; 5. SOLEDAD STREET, FROM NIAGARA STREET TO SARITA STREET; 6. NOGALES STREET, FROM PORT AVENUE TO SARITA STREET; 7. GUADALUPE STREET, FROM PORT AVENUE TO SARITA STREET; 8. OLD BROWNSVILLE ROAD, FROM EASTERN STREET TO MORGAN STREET; 9. NOGALES STREET, FROM McARTHUR STREET TO EISENHOWER STREET; 10. ROSLYN STREET, FROM RAMBLER STREET TO PRESCOTT STREET; 11. RAMBLER STREET, FROM HORNE ROAD TO ROSLYN STREEI; and 12. TALISMAN, FROM RAMBLER STREET TO PRESCOTT AS HEREWITH PROVIDED; KEEPING IN EFFECT ALL OTHER PROVISIONS OF SAID ORDINANCE 13285; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL O� THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, IEXAS: SECTION 1. That ordinance No. 13285, passed and approved by the City Council on the 14th day of July, 19/6, be and the same is hereby amended by amending Section 3 of said ordinance so as to correct and adjust the asses- sments levied against abutting property owners on the following streets: 1. Sarita Street, from Belton Street to Tarlton Street; 2. Bolivar Street, from Crosstown Expressway to Sarita Street; J� °Fi' 137f,32 41W- f • 3. Niagara Street, from Bolivar Street to Guadalupe Street; 4. Presa Street, from Crosstown Expressway to Sarita Street; 5. Soledad Street, from Niagara Street to Sarita Street; 6. Nogales Street, from Port Avenue to Sarita Street; 7. Guadalupe Street, from Port Avenue to Sarita Street; 8. Did Brownsville Road, from Eastern Street to Morgan Street; 9. Nogales Street, from McArthur Street to Eisenhower Street; 10. Roslyn Street, from Rambler Street to Prescott Street; 11. Rambler Street, from Horne Road to Roslyn Street; and 12. Talisman, from Rambler Street to Prescott as hereinafter provided, as is reflected on the corrected and adjusted assessment roll, attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION 2. Except as herein amended, Ordinance No. 13285 shall be and remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. The necessity to make the adjustments and corrections outlined hereinabove creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the day of May, 1977. A s stan C t t ney FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL • April 28, 1977 ` SAN DIEGO ADDITION, OLD BROWNSVILLE ROAD, NOGALES, RAMBLER, ROSLYN, AND TALISMAN STREET IMPROVEMENTS This project includes improvements to the following streets: 1. Sarita Street, from Belton Street to Tarlton Street; 2. Bolivar Street, from Crosstown Expressway to Sarita Street; 3. Niagara Street, from Bolivar Street to Guadalupe Street; 4. Press Street, from Crosstown Expressway to Sarita Street; 5. Soledad Street, from Niagara Street to Sarita Street; 6. Nogales Street, from Port Avenue to Sarita Street; 7. Guadalupe Street, from Port Avenue to Sarita Street; B. Old Brownsville Road, from Eastern Street to Morgan Street; 9. Nogales Street, from McArthur Street to Eisenhower Street; 10. Roslyn Street, from Rambler Street to Prescott Street; 11. Rambler Street, from Horne Road to Roslyn Street and 12. Talisman, from Rambler Street to Prescott. These streets shall be constructed by excavation to a width and depth to permit the laying of a standard curb and gutter section, 6" subgrade, 7 -1/2" compacted caliche base, and 2" Type "D" hot -mix asphalt surface for a street width from 28' to 38'; and sidewalks varying in width from 4' to 5' tied to back of curb, concrete driveways where shown on the plans or specified by the owners. The assessment rates have been calculated in accordance with the latest paving policy adopted by the City. Based on the lowest bid price submitted, the assessment rates are: 28' Wide Streets: Pavement, 4" Curb and Gutter Pavement, 6" Curb and Gutter 31' Wide Streets: Pavement, 6" Curb and Gutter 38' Wide Streets: Pavement, 6" Curb and Gutter Sidewalk Driveway @ $5.99 p.l.f. @ 6.20 p.l.f. @ $7.35 p.l.f. @ $9.64 p.l.f. @ $0.75 p.s.f. @ $1.76 p.s.f. All properties, one and two family use, churches and schools have been assessed at the maximum rate established by the City Council as follows: Curb and Gutter and Pavement @ $4.75 p.l.f.
