RITCHEY, A TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED AS LOT 17A, BLOCK 4, FLOUR BLUFF ESTATES NO. 2, IN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, NUECES COMM, TEXAS, UPON THE PAYMENT OF $1,250 CASH CONSIDERATION FOR SAID PARCEL, A COPY OF IN- STRUMENT CONVEYING THE SAME BEING ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF, MARKED EXHIBIT "A "; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to convey to James K. Ritchey and wife, Freda E. Ritchey, a tract of land described as Lot 17A, Block 4, Flour Bluff Estates No. 2, in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, upon the payment of the cash consideration of $1,250 for said parcel of land, a copy of deed of conveyance being attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A ". SECTION 2. The necessity to immediately authorize the execution of a deed in order to facilitate the sale of the above described parcel of land creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on thedate of its introduction but that such ordi- nance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and eff;S' frgm and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the ' day of Nay, 1977. Ritchey and wife, Freda E. Ritchey, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and for which no lien is retained, either expressed or implied, has this day sold, and by these presents does GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL and CONVEY unto the said James K. Ritchey and wife, Freda E. Ritchey all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Nueces, State of Texas, more particularly described as follows, to -wit: Lot 17A,Block 4, Flour Bluff Estates No. 2 in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises herein conveyed, together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging to the said James K. Ritchey and wife, Freda E. Ritchey, their heirs and assigns, forever, and Grantor does hereby bind itself, its successors and assigns, to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises herein conveyed against every person whom- soever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof by, through, or under Grantor.
