HomeMy WebLinkAbout13765 ORD - 06/01/19770 :vmr:5- 31- 77;lst • TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,000 OUT OF THE NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FOND, APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 250 -72 20, PORT AVENUE AND HORNE ROAD TRUNK STUDY, TO PRO- VIDE FOR LABORATORY TESTING SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY TRINITY ENGINEERING TESTING CORPORATION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C1.TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $1,000 out of the No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund, applicable to Project No. 250- 72 -20, Port Avenue and Horne Road Trunk Study, to provide for laboratory testing services to be provided by Trinity Engineering Testing Corporation. SECTION 2. The necessity to provide adequate funds for the afore- said project to be continued without delay creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from d after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the 14t _day of a 1977.
