TEXAS:
AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY TO RUDOLPH G.
MIRCOVICH A TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED AS THE REMAINDER
OF LOT 9, BLOCK 18, FOREST PARK ADDITION, IN THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, UPON THE
PAYMENT OF $50 CASH CONSIDERATION FOR SAID PARCEL, A
COPY OF INSTRUMENT CONVEYING THE SAME BEING ATTACHED
HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF, MARKED "EXHIBIT A ";
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to convey to
Rudolph G. Mircovich a tract of land described as the remainder of Lot 9,
Block 18, Forest Park Addition, in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces
County, Texas, upon the payment of the cash consideration of $50 for said
parcel of land, a copy of deed of conveyance being attached hereto and
made a part hereof, marked "Exhibit A ".
SECTION 2. The necessity to immediately authorize the execution

of a deed in order to facilitate the sale of the above described parcel
of land creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring
the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall
be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance
or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council,
and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and
having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance
be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be
in full force and effect frgm and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO

SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the City of Corpus Christi, hereinafter called Grantor, for
and in consideration of the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) to Grantor in
hand paid by Rudolph G. Mircovich, the receipt of which is hereby acknowl-
edged, and for which no lien is retained, either expressed or implied, has
this day sold, and by these presents does GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL and CONVEY
unto the said Rudolph G. Mircovich all that certain tract or parcel of land
lying and being situated in the County of Nueces, State of Texas, more
particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Being the remainder of Lot 9, Block 18, Forest
Park Addition not acquired by the State of Texas
for I.H. 37 right -of -way and being more particu-
larly described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at a point on the southwest right -of -way
line of I.H. 37, said point being the southeast
corner of Lot 9, Block 18, Forest Park Addition
as shown by map of record in Volume A, Page 9,
Map Records, Nueces County, Texas, for the begin-
ning corner of the tract of land herein described;
Thence due . west along the south boundary line of
said Lot 9 a distance of 50.0 feet to a point
which is the southwest corner of said Lot 9;
Thence due north along the west boundary line of
said Lot 9 a distance of 31.93 feet to a point on
the southwest right -of -way line of abovementioned
I.H. 37;
Thence south 57 degrees 26' 12" east along the south-
west right -of -way line of said I.H. 37 as conveyed
to the State of Texas by deed as recorded in Volume
921, Pages 500, 501, Deed Records, Nueces County,
Texas, to the place of beginning and containing
798.25 square feet of land, more or less.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises herein conveyed,
together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in
anywise belonging to the said Rudolph G. Mircovich, his heirs and assigns,
forever, and Grantor does hereby bind itself, its successors and assigns,
to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises herein
conveyed against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the
same or any part thereof by, through, or under Grantor.

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance,
a public emergency and imperative necessity exist for the suspension of the
Charter rule or requirement that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed
finally on the date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution
shall be read at three meetings of the City Council; I, therefore, request
that you suspend said Charter rule or requirement and pass this ordinance
finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of.the City
Council.
