AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING SECTION 19 -172,
REINSPECTION FEES, OF ARTICLE VI, MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS,.,
TO PROVIDE FOR NEW SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR INSPECTION OF MILK
AND MILK PRODUCTS; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS: „
SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by amending
Section 19 -172, Reinspection Fees, of Article VI, MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS,
said Section 19 -172 to hereafter read as follows:
"Section 19 -172. Reinspection Fees.
For each warning letter sent regarding a violation of this
article which requires a reinspection, the permit holder
shall be charged a reinspection fee in the amount of Fifty
Dollars ($50). For each degrading letter sent requiring a
reinspection, the permit holder shall be charged a reinspec-
tion fee of Seventy -Five Dollars ($75). Failure of payment
\ of said reinspection fees within 30 days after the date of 1
J a given reinspection shall invoke the permit forfeiture pro-
vided by Section 19- 171."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be invalid or
unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction,
it shall not affect any other section,•paragraph, subdivision, clause,
phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent
r of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause,
phrase, word, or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its
purpose.
SECTION 4. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi by publishing the caption of
MICROFILMED

this ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance, and this
ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage and
publication in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Corpus Christi.
