HomeMy WebLinkAbout13827 ORD - 07/13/1977ikh:7- 12 -77; 1st 1G �Y AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $160,000 OUT OF THE NO. 209 COMMUNITY - CONVENTION FACILITY BOND FUND, OF WHICH $13,882.89 IS APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 209- 76 -1.1, FOUNDATION TESTING, AND $146,117.11 IS APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 209- 76 -1.2, ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES; AUTHORIZING THE RETURN OF $160,000, WHICH WAS PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED FOR THE ABOVE PURPOSE BY ORDINANCE NO. 13293, OUT OF THE NO. 102 GENERAL FUND UNAPPROPRIATED FUND BALANCE ACCOUNT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $160,000 out of the No. 209 Community- Convention Facility Bond Fund, of which $13,882.89 is applicable to Project No. 209- 76 -1.1, Foundation testing, and $146,117_11 is applicable to Project No. 209- 76 -1.2, Architectural and Engineering services. - SECTION 2. Authorization is hereby given for return of $160,000, previously appropriated for the above purpose by Ordinance No. 13293, out of the No. 102 General Fund Unappropriated Fund Balance Account, said No. 102 General Fund Unappropriated Fund Balance Account to be reimbursed by the funds hereby and herein appropriated and not previously reimbursed. SECTION 3. The necessity to appropriate the sums hereinabove described in order to reimburse the No. 102 General Fund Unappropriated Fund Balance Account creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its intro- duction and that such ordinance take effect and be in full force and MICROFILMED JUL 0 71960 1.3827 effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this tk the 13 day of July, 1977.
