HomeMy WebLinkAbout13861 ORD - 08/03/1977® jkh:7i78 -77; 1 t � c• , AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 11642, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON AUGUST 22, 1973, BY AMENDING THE RATES FOR PARKING AT THE CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ALONG THE CURB OF THE ISLAND LOCATED BETWEEN THE TERMINAL BUILDING AND THE MAIN PARKING LOT TO HEREAFTER PROVIDE AS FOLLOWS: TEN CENTS (lot) FOR 7 -112 MINUTES; TWENTY -FIVE CENTS (25¢) FOR 15 MINUTES; AND FIFTY CENTS (50¢) FOR 30 MINUTES OF PARKING; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 11642, passed and approved by the City Council on August 22, 1973, be and the same is hereby amended by amending Section 1 thereof by amending the rates for parking at the Corpus Christi International Airport along the curb of the island located between the Terminal Building and the main parking lot, and there is hereby ' established the following rates for parking at the meters at the aforesaid location: For 7 -1/2 minutes of parking, $.10; For 15 minutes of parking, $.25; For 30 minutes of parking, $.50. SECTION 2. The terms of this ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and publication. SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 4. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision, x clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision of this,ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, It pFIa se,word d or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose. SECTION 5. Publication shall be made one time in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of this ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
