AND ELNORA SLANINA IN CONNECTION WITH THE FLOUR BLUFF SOUTH END LATERALS AND LIFT STATION,_ PROJECT NO.-250 -72 -6; APPROPRIATING $2,275.50 OUT OF THE 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND, OF WHICH $2,100 IS FOR ACQUISITION AND $175.50 IS FOR COSTS RELATED TO CLOSING; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. 1 4 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS- a. SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute real estate sales contract and such other documents' as may be necessary for and on behalf'of the City of Corpus Christi, for the acquisition of the above described parcel from Henry L. and Elnora Slanina. SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated out of the No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund the sum of $2,275.50 for the acquisition f ' of a parcel of land in connection with the Flour Bluff South End Laterals and Lift Station, applicable to Project No. 250 -72 -6, said parcel of land k being described as follows: Lot ten (10), Block nine (9), LAGUNA VISTA SHORES, an addition to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, as shown by the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 8, Page 32, Map Records, Nueces County, Texas. Restrictions recorded in Volume 268, Page 587, Deed ` Records, Nueces County, Texas. '` SECTION 3. The necessity to make the appropriation described abdve and to authorize the City Manager to execute the necessary instruments for the purchase of the above described parcel of land so that the project described hereinabove may continue without delay creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no,ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but "that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, having requested the suspension of the MICROFILMED 1111 G 7 ,ti80 13951 Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED this the 02 &_ day of September, 1977.
