AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
1976 REVISION, BY AMENDING SECTION 53 -254, SECTION V,
INCREASE OF STATE SPEED LIMIT IN CERTAIN ZONES, SO AS
TO PROVIDE FOR SPEED LIMITS OF 45 MPH AT ALL TIMES ON
LEXINGTON BOULEVARD FROM A POINT 425 FEET NORTH OF
THE CENTERLINE OF HOPKINS TO A POINT 500 FEET SOUTH
OF THE CENTERLINE OF LEOPARD; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by amending
Section 53 -254, Section V, INCREASE OF STATE SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN ZONES,
to hereafter provide for speed limits on Lexington Boulevard as follows:
NAME OF STREET SPEED LIMIT EFFECTIVE
TIMES
Lexington Boulevard
From a point 425 feet north of
the centerline of Hopkins to a
point 500 feet south of the
centerline of Leopard
45 m.p.h. At all times.
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Chrsiti, which publication shall contain
the caption stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
