Project No. 48 -00409 Flour Bluff Pool Gentlemen: Responding to the request of the architects for a quotation to 'furnish and install an 8" runnin trap and 2 cleanouts in the 8" waste water line from the pit we propose to do this work -- f6f-iiie' gum" bfV. . However. the fitting requested is no longer available in 8" size; therefore. we propose to provide two 80" SV cast iron sanitary tees with an 8" trap between them made up of four (4) 8" SV cast iron 1/4 Bends. The two (2) 4" inlets on the tees would be extended up to grade with cleanout plugs. A 2" vent would be provided off the up stream riser. Center to center dimensions between the two (2) cleanouts would be approximately 494" requiring a concrete pad at least 5' -0" long. Respectfully submitted. Furthermore, we are requesting an additional life guard stand be placed on the north side of the pool at the shallow end and approximately 22 feet from the steps. It has been noted that the majority of accidents in pools occur at two locations, the deep end under the boards and the shallow end next to the wall area. One stand would not have allowed for good visual control of both areas and would have been to great a distance to provide adequate protection and safety for the swimmers. If you would prepare the necessary change orders and send it to Mr. Jerry Smith for BOR approval, the delays in construction will be minimal.
