HomeMy WebLinkAbout14040 ORD - 11/16/1977• JKH:vmr:11- 16- 77;ist AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $25,000 OUT OF THE AIRPORT BOND FUND FOR CALICHE AND ASPHALT TO PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL 100 PARKING SPACES AT THE REAR OF THE EXISTING PARKING LOT AT THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 245 -68 -27.1, AIRPORT PARKING LOT EXPANSION, LOT B; AND DECLARrNG AN EMERGENCY. • BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $25,000 out of the Airport Bond Fund for daliche and asphalt to provide an additional 100 parking spaces at the rear of the existing parking lot at the Corpus Christi International Airport, applicable to Project No. 245 -68- 27.1, Airport Parking Lot Expansion, Lot B. SECTION 2. That the necessity to appropriate the sums herein- above described in order to provide for more adequate parking facilities at the Corpus Christi International Airport at the earliest practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such emergency and necessity exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect Tm and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the day of , 1977.
