AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING SECTION 53 -252,
SCHEDULE III, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN
STREETS, BY DELETING THE FOLLOWING STREETS:
1. COOPER STREET, NORTH SIDE, BETWEEN WATER AND
MESQUITE STREETS, AND
2. KENNEDY STREET, NORTH SIDE, BETWEEN SOUTH
UPPER BROADWAY AND TANCAHUA STREET,
AND BY ADDING THERETO AN ITEM, COOPERS ALLEY, WHICH
WILL PROHIBIT PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON BOTH SIDES
OF COOPERS ALLEY, FROM NORTH TANCAHUA STREET TO WATER
STREET; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by amending
Section 53 -252, Schedule III - PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN
STREETS, by deleting the following streets:
1. Cooper Street, north side, between Water and Mesquite
Streets, and
2. Kennedy Street, north side, between South Upper
Broadway and Tancahua Street,
and by adding thereto the following item:
Coopers Alley, both sides, from North Tancahua Street
to Water Street.
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of
this ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
