AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, -BY AMENDING SECTION 53 -254,
`SECTION V INCREASE OF STATE SPEED LIMIT IN CERTAIN
`ZONES, SO AS TO DELETE REFERENCES TO PORTIONS OF WEBER
ROAD AND IN LIEU THEREOF ADDING PROVISIONS FOR SPEED
LIMITS OF 45 MILES PER HOUR AT ALL TIMES ON WEBER
ROAD FROM SARATOGA TO THE CITY LIMITS LINE; PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances,
City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, as amended, be and the same is hereby
amended by amending
Section 53 -254, Section V. INCREASE OF STATE SPEED LIMIT
IN CERTAIN ZONES,
by deleting the following references to Weber Road:
NA11E OF STREET SPEED LIMIT
EFFECTIVE TIMES
Weber Road
From Staples Street to
South Padre Island Drive 35 mph
At all times
From the south right -of -way
line of South Padre Island
Drive to the north right -
of -way line of O'Day Street 35 mph
At all times
From South Padre Island Drive
to the city limits 45 mph
At all times
and in lieu thereof adding the following provisions:
NAME OF STREET SPEED LIMIT
EFFECTIVE TIMES
Weber Road
From Saratoga to the
city limits line 45 mph
At all times
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made one
time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi which publication
shall contain
the caption stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
