AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES „ CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
1.976 REVISION, BY AMENDING CHAPTER 55, UTILITIES, ARTICLE
X, EXTENSION OF SEWER LINES, BY AMENDING PARAGRAPH (b)(1)
t OF SECTION 55 -130, AUTHORITY TO MAKE EXTENSIONS; PRO RATA
FRONT FOOT CHARGE AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 13616 DATED
FEBRUARY 16, 1977; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL,OF ALL ORDINANCES
' IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY ICOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS: _•
SECTION 1, That the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, be and the same is hereby amended by amending °Chapter 55,
UTILITIES, Article X, EXTENSION OF SEWER LINES, by amending paragraph (b)
's
(1) of Section 55 -130, Authority to make extensions; pro rata front foot
charge, as amended by Ordinance No. 13616, dated February 16, 1977, by
amending paragraph (1)(b) to hereafter read as follows:
(1)(b) For new lines completed,or accepted after the
effective date of this ordinance two dollars
per front foot for platted property for 6 e
months beyond the date of acceptance or completion
of the ,extension serving the property. After 6 ;.
months the charge shall be $5.00 per front foot.,
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances- in conflict
herewith be-and same,,are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, 'subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be held "i valid"
.. or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent,durisdiction
it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision,'r clause,

phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent
of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause,
phrase, word, or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its
