AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, 1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING
ARTICLE Vi. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH:.CITIZENS'
ADVISORY HEALTH AND WELFARE BOARD, SECTION 2 -163,
ENTITLED CITIZENS' ADVISORY HEALTH AND WELFARE
BOARD - CREATED: COMPOSITION AND APPOINTMENT OF
MEMBERS; RULES OF PROCEDURE; OFFICERS; TERMS OF
MEMBERS; FILLING VACANCIES. SO AS TO PERMIT
REAPPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE SAID BOARD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Article VI. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH; CITIZENS'
ADVISORY HEALTH AND WELFARE BOARD of the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus
Christi, 1976 Revision, be amended by amending Section 2 -163, entitled
"Citizens' advisory health and welfare board - created; composition and
appointment of members; rules of procedure; officers; terms of members;
filling vacancies," so as to delete the next to the last sentence of said
section which reads as follows: "No person shall be eligible for reappoint-
ment on the board'unless at least one (1) year has elapsed since the last
service on the board of such appointee."
