HomeMy WebLinkAbout14372 ORD - 07/05/1978jkh:6- 28 -78; 1st TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE NO. 113 INSURANCE FUND ADDITIONAL PREMIUM REFUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $38,845, ADDITIONAL FEDERAL AND STATE GRANT FUND CONTRIBUTIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $78,000 AND VARIOUS INCREASED USER FUND CHARGES AS MORE ADEQUATELY DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A ", ATTACHED HERETO, IN THE AMOUNT OF $131,361, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING $248,206 OF INCREASED INSURANCE PREMIUMS IN THE 1977 -78 FISCAL YEAR, THE INCREASED INSURANCE PREMIUMS BEING IDENTIFIED AS FOLLOWS: General Liability Insurance $139,218 Group Life and Health Insurance 53,796 Workmens Compensation Insurance 55,192 Total $248,206 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of the No. 113 Insurance Fund additional premium refunds in the amount of $38,845, addi- tional Federal and State Grant Fund contributions in the amount of $78,000 and various increased user fund charges as more adequately described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto, in the amount of $131,361, for the purpose of paying $248,206 of increased insurance premiums in the 1977 -78 fiscal year, the increased insurance premiums being identified as follows: General Liability Insurance Group Life and Health Insurance " Workmens Compensation Insurance + Total SECTION 2.
