HomeMy WebLinkAbout14375 ORD - 07/05/1978AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE NO. 291 PARK BOND FUND THE SUM OF $1,200 FROM PROJECT NO. 291 -72 -6, BAYFRONT PARKS, FOR FUTURE REIMBURSEMENT TO FUND NO. 102, ACTIVITY 4122 -604 FOR WORK DONE BY CITY FORCES ON THE 1978 YOUTH CONSERVATION CORPS NONRESIDENT PROJECT; CANCELLING ORDI- NANCE NO. 14276, APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON APRIL 19, 1978, APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE NO. 291 PARK BOND FUND THE SUM OF $1,200 FROM PROJECT NO. 291 -72 -3, LOS ENCINOS PARK, TO BE TRANSFERRED INTO FUND NO. 162, ACTIVITY 4676, FOR FUTURE REIMBURSEMENT TO FUND NO. 102, ACTIVITY 4122 -604 FOR WORK DONE BY CITY FORCES ON THE 1978 YOUTH CONSERVA- TION CORPS NONRESIDENT PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of the No. 291 Park Bond Fund, Project No. 291 -72 -6, Bayfront Parks, the sum of $1,200 for future reimbursement to Fund No. 102, Activity 4122 -604 for work done by City forces on the 1978 Youth Conservation Corps Project. SECTION 2. That there is hereby cancelled Ordinance No. 14276, approved by the City Council on April 19, 1978, appropriating out of the Park Bond Fund No. 291, Project No. 291 -72 -3, Los Encinos Park, the sum of $1,200, said sum to have been transferred to Fund No. 162, Activity 4676, for future reimbursement to Activity 4122 -604 for work done by City forces on the 1978 Youth Conservation Corps Project. SECTION 3. The necessity to appropriate the sums in the amounts and for the purposes outlined hereinabove creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such emergency and necessity exist, having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the S day of July, 1978.• ATTEST: y Secretary MAYOR THE CITY OF COR US STI, TEXAS APPROVED: �'� DAY OF JULY, 1978: J.
