HomeMy WebLinkAbout14404 ORD - 07/26/1978jkh:7- 26 -78; 1st AN ORDINANCE �r APPROPRIATING $31,138.20 AS FOLLOWS: $ 2,021.23 OUT OF THE NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND; AND ` $29,116.97 OUT OF THE NO. 162 FEDERAL /STATES GRANT FUND, ACTIVITY 4734, CODE 502, TO SUPPLEMENT $9,489.51 REMAINING FROM FUNDS PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED FOR PROJECT NO. 250- 72 -16, WALDRON SUBDIVISION LATERAL EXTENSIONS - STAGE 1; AUTHORIZING r REIMBURSEMENT OF $40,627.71 TO THE NO. 102 GENERAL FUND, INTERDEPARTMENTAL STREET CHARGES, REVENUE CODE — ` NO. 2481, FOR DRAINAGE AND RECONSTRUCTION WORK PERFORMED ON ROSANNE, ESTER, TULA, DUNE, ROSE, SANDS, AND LORINE ` STREETS IN CONNECTION N WITH THE INSTALLATION OF THE FLOUR y BLUFF SEWER LATERALS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $31,138.20 as follows: $ 2,021.23 out of the No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund, and $29,116.97 out of the No. 162 Federal /States Grant Fund, Activity 4734, Code 502, to supplement $9,489.51 remaining from funds previously appropriated for Project No. 250-72-16, Waldron Subdivision Lateral Extensions - Stage 1. SECTION 2. That authorization is hereby given for reimbursement of the sum of $40,627.71 to the No. 102 General Fund, Interdepartmental Street Charges, Revenue Code No. 2481, for drainage and reconstruction work performed on Rosanne, Ester, Tula, Dune, Rose, Sands, and Lorine Streets in connection with the installation of the Flour Bluff Sewer Laterals. SECTION 3. The necessity to provide the sums hereinabove set . forth for reimbursement to the No. 102 General Fund at the earliest practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that'no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such emergency and necessity exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter &ICRUILMED tJUL 0 81980 14404 r 5 = +i .r, 'r•, rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its intro- duction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and ter its passage,jIT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the oil` day of 1978.
