AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING SECTION 36 -5, AS AMENDED, SO AS TO ESTABLISH
NEW TENNIS COURTS RATES SCHEDULES FOR USE OF TENNIS
COURTS AT THE H. E. BUTT TENNIS CENTER AND SOUTH BLUFF
PARK; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS,CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 36 -5 "Tennis Courts rates schedule" of the
,Corpus Christi City Code, as amended, be amended to read as follows:
"Section 36 -5. Tennis Courts rates schedule.
The rates to be charged as fees for the use of the Tennis Courts at
the H. E. Butt Tennis Center and the tennis courts at South Bluff Park to be paid
by all users of those city recreational facilities shall be as prescribed in
the following schedule:
Annual Permits (Unlimited play except as provided below)
Adults (all individuals except college students
and school children) - Annual $50.00
Adults (all individuals except college students
and school children) - Six - months period 25.00
College students - Annual 25.00
College students - Summer (June, July and
August) 8.00
School children (includes all school children
+ through high school grades) - Annual 15.00
Family rate (including husband and wife and
all children 18 years of age or under) -
Annual f' 75.00
Daily Fees:
For each 1 1/2 hour or fraction thereof session,
per individual:
Non - permit $ 1.00
Night Fees:
For each 1 hour or fraction thereof session,
per,individual:
Non - permit 1.00
Permit' .50"

SECTION 2. That Section 36 -5 of the Corpus Christi City Code, as
amended, shall remain in full force and effect, save and except as amended by
this ordinance.

SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after
its passage and publication.
SECTION 4. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of this
ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
