TEXAS:
AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, AND PARTICULARLY AMENDING
SECTION 53 -253, "STOPPING, STANDING OR PARKING PROHIBITED
DURING CERTAIN HOURS ON CERTAIN STREETS ", BY ADDING THERE-
TO ITEMS WHICH WILL HAVE THE EFFECT OF PROHIBITING STOP-
PING, STANDING OR PARKING DURING CERTAIN HOURS ON BATTLIN'
BUC BLVD., BETWEEN MESTINA STREET AND UP RIVER ROAD (BOTH
SIDES) AND UP RIVER ROAD, FROM PALM DRIVE TO A POINT
APPROXIMATELY 850 FEET WEST OF BATTLIN' BUC BLVD. (BOTH
SIDES); PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by adding items
under Section 53 -253, "STOPPING, STANDING OR PARKING PROHIBITED DURING CERTAIN
HOURS ON CERTAIN STREETS ", which items will read as follows:
NAME OF STREET HOURS, STOPPING, STANDING
OR PARKING PROHIBITED
1. BATTLIN' BUC BLVD., between Between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. .Y
Mestina Street and UpRiver School Days Only
Road (both sides)'
2. UP RIVER ROAD, from Palm Between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Drive to a point approxi- School Days Only
mately 850 feet west of
Battlin' Buc Blvd. (both
sides)
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of this
ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or uncon-
stitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction it shall
not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word,
or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this City
Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or
provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
