AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING SECTION 36 -8, TITLED "ATHLETIC LEAGUE
TEAM FEES" IN THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, 1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 36 -8, entitled "Athletic League Team
Fees" be established in the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, as amended, and to read as follows:
"Sec. 36 -8. Athletic League Team Fees.
The rates to be charged as fees for the participation in
city- sponsored league play shall be as prescribed in the following
schedule:
" Entrance fees per team for league play:
Regular season softball $170.00
Fall season softball 85.00
Flag football 120.00
Basketball 170.00 e
Entrance fees per team for tournament
play
Softball $ 50.00 "
SECTION 2. The above and foregoing rates shall be charged to
all teams. Any use without payment shall be deemed a violation of this
Code.
` SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after
its final passage and publication.
SECTION 4. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of
this ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.

seconded the motion that the ordinance read on the first two of three
readings on July 26, 1978 and August 2, 1978, respectively, establishing
Section 36 -8, entitled "Athletic League Team Fees ", to the City Code of
Ordinances, be amended prior to its third and final reading as follows:
A. Amend the Entrance Fees per Team for League Play as
follows:
