ESTABLISHING SECTION 36 -7 TITLED "SWIMMING FEES" IN
THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE, AS AMENDED; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 36 -7, Entitled "Swimming Fees" be established
in the Corpus Christi City Code, as amended, and to read as follows:
"Section 36 -7 Swimming Pool rates schedule
The rates to be charged as fees for the use of City owned and

operated swimming pools to be paid by all users of those City recreational
facilities shall be as prescribed in the following schedule:
.Daily Admission Fees:
West Guth Pool
Adults $ .60
Children (under 12 years of age) .25
Meadow Park Pool

SECTION 2. The above and foregoing rates shall be charged to all
individuals. Any use without payment shall be deemed a violation of this
code.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
passage and publication.
SECTION 4. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi by publishing the caption of this
ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.

seconded the motion that the ordinance establishing Section 36 -7, "Swimming
Fees ", in the Corpus Christi City Code, read on the first two of three
readings on July 26, 1978 and August 2, 1978, respectively, be and the
same is hereby amended prior to the third and final reading as follows:
A. Daily Swimming fees at all pools shall be 60� -for adults
and 25¢ for children.
