AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS NECESSARY
FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PARCEL 8, OSO TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVE-
MENTS, PROJECT NO. 250 -61 -25.5; APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE NO.
250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND $2,178.00 OF WHICH AMOUNT
$2,000.00 IS FOR ACQUISITION AND $178.00 IS FOR INCIDENTAL
COSTS RELATED TO CLOSING; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
documents necessary for the acquisition of Parcel 8, Oso Treatment Plant
Improvements, Project No. 250 -61 -25.5, said owner and parcel being more fully
identified as follows:

All of that certain tract or parcel of land out of
Lot 15, Section 19, FLOUR BLUFF AND ENCINAL FARM
AND GARDEN TRACTS, Nueces County, Texas, according
to the map thereof, recorded in Volume A, pages
41, 42, 43, Map Records, Nueces County, Texas, and
being more particularly described by metes and
bounds as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Southeast boundary
line of Lot 15, for the most Easterly corner and
point of beginning of this tract whence the East
or Northeast corner of Lot 15, bears North 290
East 37.50 feet;
Thence South 290 West along said boundary line,
130.10 feet to the most Southerly corner of this
tract;
Thence North 600 54' 30" W., 205.82 feet to the
most Westerly corner of this tract;
Thence N. 290 East 130.10 feet to the most
Northerly corner of this tract;
Thence parallel with and 37.50 feet South-
westerly of the Northeast boundary line of Lot 15,
S. 600 54' 30" E., 205.82 feet to the point of
beginning.
Containing 0.615 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated out of the No. 250
Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund $2,178.00 of which amount $2,000.00 is for acquisition
and $178.00 is for incidental costs related to closing.
SECTION 3. That the necessity to acquire the above described parcel
in order that Oso Treatment Plant Improvements may be commenced the earliest

practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity
requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall
be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or
resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and
the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having
requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed
finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance,
a public emergency and imperative necessity exist for the suspension of the
Charter rule or requirement that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed
finally on the date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution
shall be read at three meetings of the City Council; I, therefore, request
that you suspend said Charter rule or requirement and pass this ordinance
finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City
Council.
