HomeMy WebLinkAbout14565 ORD - 10/18/1978I jkh:1O- 18- 78;lst a y Ili AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SANITARY SEWER MASTER PLAN TO COMBINE THAT PORTION OF AREA 20- B- 1,WEST OF CORN PRODUCTS ROAD SHOWN ON PLATE 22, ESTIMATED AT APPROXIMATELY 14 ACRES, WITH AREA 24 -A -1; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Master Sanitary Sewer Plan (1963), adopted by Resolution No. 7441 on December 23, 1964, as amended, be amended by combining that portion of Area 20 -B -1, west of Corn Products Road shown on Plate 22, estimated at approximately 14 acres, with Area 24 -A -1. SECTION 2. The necessity to amend the Master Sanitary Sewer Plan for the City of Corpus Christi (1963) as hereinabove set forth creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requir- ing the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the_T__day o October, 1978.
