BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS; SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a lease agreement between the City of Corpus Christi and South- west Airlines Company covering rental of space in the International Arrival Building at the Corpus Christi International Airport, all as more fully set forth in the lease agreement, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and made a part hereof. 14617 MICROFILMED. rJUL 0 81980 1 'Y �k f LEASE AGREEMENT THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF NUECES X WHEREAS, the City of Corpus Christi, acting by and through its duly authorized City Manager, R. Marvin Townsend, does hereby agree with Southwest Airlines Company to enter into the following agreement: 1. The City hereby agrees to rent space in the International Arrival Building at the Corpus Christi International Airport to Southwest Airlines Corporation for the period of July 8, 1978 through August 7, 1980. The portion to be rented is more fully described on the attached map, marked Exhibit "A ". 2. Southwest Airlines Company agrees to pay for the first year the amount of $6.26 per square foot per year for a total of One Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Two and 32/100 Dollars ($1,452.32), said amount to be paid to the Airport Manager in equal monthly installments. Rental, after the first year, shall be at the same rate as Southwest pays for the similar space being rented in the building as provided in Article 7, paragraph 11 of the Southwest Lease Agreement, Ordinance 13631 approved by Council on February 23, 1977.
