HomeMy WebLinkAbout14743 ORD - 01/31/1979•jkh:l-30-79;1st AN ORDINANCE • APPROPRIATING $1,283 OUT OF THE ANTI -RECESSIONARY FUND 151 AS A CONTRIBUTION TO THE GENERAL FUND, REVENUE ACCOUNT NO. 2471; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $1,283, the unappropriated balance of the Anti -Recessionary Fund No. 151, as a contribution to the General Fund, Revenue Account No. 2471. SECTION 2. That the necessity to close out the Anti -Recession Fund and to make appropriation of the sums remaining to the General Fund, Revenue Account No. 2471, as hereinabove set forth, creates a public emergency and an imperative public that no ordinance or necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such emergency and necessity exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the C3/ day of , 1979.
