AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,,
1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, AND PARTICULARLY AMENDING
SECTION 53-253, "STOPPING, STANDING OR PARKING PROHIBITED
DURING CERTAIN HOURS ON CERTAIN STREETS," BY ADDING THERETO
AN ITEM WHICH WILL HAVE THE EFFECT OF PROHIBITING STOPPING,
STANDING OR PARKING DURING CERTAIN HOURS ON KEY WEST DRIVE,
FROM A POINT 225 FEET EAST OF WEBER ROAD TO WEBER ROAD (BOTH
SIDES); PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Code or Ordinances, City of -Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by adding an item
under Section 53-253, "STOPPING, STANDING OR PARKING PROHIBITED DURING CERTAIN
HOURS ON CERTAIN STREETS", which items will readasfollows:
NAME OF STREET HOURS, STOPPING, STANDING
OR PARKING PROHIBITED
Key West Drive, from a point Between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
225 feet east of Weber Road School Days Only
to Weber Road (both sides)
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of this
ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of, the ordinance.
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or uncon-
stitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction it shall
not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word,
or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this City
Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or
provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
