AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING ARTICLE II, MARINA,
SECTION 12-61, "RATES AND RENTAL FEES FOR USE OF SLIPS
AND DOCK SPACE - SCHEDULE AND REGULATIONS", INCREASING
DRY BERTH RATES BY ONE DOLLAR ($1) PER MONTH AND GEAR BOX
RATES BY FIFTY CENTS (50¢) PER MONTH; SPECIFICALLY AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 13889, SECTION 1, PARAGRAPH (2), (f) AND
(j), PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON AUGUST 17,
1977; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Amending the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, as amended, by amending Article II, Marina, Section 12-61,`"
"Rates and Rental Fees for Use of Slips and Dock Space -Schedule and Regulations";
increasing Dry Berth Rates by one ($1.00) per month and Gear Box Rates by fifty
(50¢) cents per month; specifically amending Ordinance No. 13889, Section 1,
Paragraph (2),(f) and (j), passed and approved by the City Council on August
17, 1977:
"Section 12-61. Rates and rental fees for use of slips and dockage
space schedule and regulations".
(2) The monthly rates and rental fees for boat slips and dockage
in the Corpus Christi Municipal Marina shall be as follows and shall include
a limited amount of tap water and shore -power privileges except where noted:

The rate for berths in the dry boat dock shall be:
$13.00 per month for each lower level berth
$10.00 per month for each second level berth
$10.00 per month for each third level berth
Rental for standard gear boxes provided by the City shall
be Three Dollars and Fifty Cents ($3.50) per month for
the large boxes and Three ($3.00) Dollars per month for
the small gear boxes.
SECTION 2. A11 ordinances or part of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflicts.
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or

unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction it sha11g

not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or
provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent ofe City Council

that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or provision
hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be effective from and after August
1, 1979.
SECTION 5. Publication shall be made one time in the official pub-
lication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of this
ordinance, stating in substance) the purpose of the ordinance.
