AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING $3,921.90 OUT OF THE PARK TRUST FUND NO.
111 FOR REIMBURSEMENT TO THE GENERAL FUND NO. 102,
ACTIVITY 4122-603, FOR INSTALLATION OF SHELTERS IN
GREENWOOD, LIONS AND MALIBU PARKS BY THE PARK_DIVISION,
OF WHICH APPROPRIATION THE SUM OF $3,252.881s FOR THE
SHELTER INSTALLED IN GREENWOOD PARK, $2,365.17 OF WHICH
IS OUT OF PARK TRUST rr UND NO. 111-1763, GREENWOOD POOL,
AND $887.71 IS OUT +1y' 'K TRUST FUND NO. 111-1752,
UNRESTRICTED; $588.'4 IS OUT OF PARK TRUST FUND NO.
111-1793, LIONS PARK: AND $80.08 IS OUT OF PARK TRUST
FUND NO. 111-1796, MALIBU PARK; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of the Park
Trust Fund No. 111 for reimbursement to the General Fund No. 102, Activity
4122-603, for installation of shelters in Greenwood, Lions and Malibu
Parks by the Park Division,the sum of $3,921.90, of which sum $3,252.88 is
for the shelter installed in Greenwood Park, $2,365.17 of which is out of
Park Trust Fund No. 111-1763, Greenwood Pooand $887.71 is out of Park

Trust Fund No. 111-1752, Unrestricted; $588.94 is out of Park Trust Fund No.
111-1793, Lions Park; and $80.08 is out of Park Trust Fund No. 111-1796,
Malibu' 'Park.
SECTION 2. The necessity to authorize reimbursement to the No.
102 General Fund as aforesaid creates a public emergency and an imperative
public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no
ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its intro-
duction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several
meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such emer-
gency and necessity exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter
rule and'that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduc-
tion and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the .24._ day of August, 1979.

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance, a
public emergency and imperative necessity exist for the suspension of the Charter
rule or requirement that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on
the date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read
at three meetings of the City Council; I, therefore, request that you suspend
said Charter rule or requirement and pass this ordinance finally on the date it
is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
